This is not a legal document. It is an explanation. otherWise is free — there is no charge, and no revenue of any kind.

It can get things wrong. It is maintained by one person and is not guaranteed to be free of faults. Where amounts matter, check them yourself.

The figures are for reference. Rates are taken from public data for the day an expense occurred, and are shown for convenience. What is actually owed is whatever you and the other person agree. These numbers are not a financial record.

The data is yours. Export it at any time; ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Accounts are not blocked over how the service is used. There is no blocking feature, and none is planned.

The service could stop. If it is no longer maintained, you will be told in advance and given time to export everything. It will not disappear without notice.

Do not use it for anything unlawful.
